Your New Role… 

The Senior Data Analyst, International Content Investment, will support the development of insight into our content investment decision making and build our understanding of content value across WBD International. With a specific focus on analysis at the market and portfolio level, this role will interact with a wide variety of stakeholders and adjacent teams, reflecting the multi-functional and multi-market characteristics of the role. 

Your Role Accountabilities… 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, ability to work well and communicate effectively in a cross functional, international environment. 

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and other financial data analysis tools and techniques. Demonstrated experience in financial modelling.   

  • A passion for content and knowledge of content performance KPIs will be a plus. 

  • Ability to build confidence and trust with stakeholders. 

  • Work well under pressure, while showing excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently with high volumes of data. 

  • Critical thinker and strong problem solver. Ability to identify insights. 

  • Motivated by challenging, dynamic environment. Accountable and willing to work independently on occasion, as well as part of a team. 

 

Qualifications & Experience… 

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience required. Experience in Entertainment industry is preferred, experience in a content analytics or research area is considered a plus. 

  • Experience working to build and support new processes considered a plus. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in financial, scientific or commercial subject. Masters, MBA or other post graduate studies preferred. 

  • Experience working accurately and efficiently with high volumes of data under strict deadlines. 

  • Strong working knowledge of financial software packages and Microsoft Office suite.  

  • Experience with data visualization (i.e. Power BI/Tableau) is considered a plus.

Drive key elements of reporting engine. 

  • Run regular analytics and reporting, track changes, improve day to day information availability. 

  • Own key analysis and develop expertise in specific areas. Ask questions, build relationships with key stakeholders in relation to these topics. 

  • Build narrative and deliver insights to colleagues inside and outside the team. 

  • Push continuous improvement in process e.g. highlighting data gaps, sourcing solutions, identifying ways to automate manual activities.

Support broader global content finance activities as determined by the senior team. 

  • Provide broad spectrum support to content strategy and finance topics. 

  • Provide analysis and insight in response to senior management requests. 

  • Present elements of work in different meetings and presentation contexts. 

  • Ensure data driven decisions are reached for the benefit of WBD and its shareholders.
