Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will engage in the development and configuration of software systems, either managing the entire process or focusing on specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your day will involve applying your knowledge of various technologies, methodologies, and tools to support projects and clients effectively, ensuring that the software meets the required standards and specifications while collaborating with diverse teams to achieve project goals. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop and/or integrate from third-parties standard components for automotive receivers or IoT gateways, telematic devices. - Work on low level firmware features to manage data from remote sensors over the air. - Integrate components to establish the cell and cloud communication to be able to upload data. - Work closely with the hardware and software developers to innovate, develop and support complete product and service solutions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Proficiency in software programing language: C/C++, Python - Working experience of development and production of automotive qualified ECU firmware - Experience with BLE, WiFi and RF communication protocol Familiarity with CAN/J1939, OBD-II and UDS - Experience with machine-to-machine protocols like MQTT, HTTP. - Experience IoT and automotive electronics. - Experience with MATLAB Simulink, Coder and other MathWorks’ products. - Experience in Programming micro-controllers to implement product functions. - At least 5 years of proven experience in the field of testing and validation of automotive qualified electronic products, or electronic products. - Product design and fabrication of prototype electronics. - Testing and measurement of RF electronic performance. Electronic systems design and specification. - IoT and automotive electronics experience preferred FMEA and DFMEA of electronic products White box and black box testing Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Automotive ECU Software - This position is based at our Bengaluru office - A 15 years full time education is required
