The Accountant Statutory & Tax is responsible for maintaining operational efficiency & compliance in Greek entity, with a multi functional Finance profile covering regular financial processes, statutory & tax compliance per local laws, general business controllership & legal entity support.

Job Responsibilities

• Recording expenses & preparing financial reports
• Ensuring the accuracy of bookkeeping & that it is compliant with Corp policies & Federal laws
• Ensuring proper account reconciliations
• Collaborating with external auditors
• Involved in preparation of tax returns & financial statements
• Cash flow preparation
• Recording disbursements & payments 
• Fixed Asset recording & reporting 
• Ad hoc projects (compliance with local tax regulations)

Accountability

• Record & Report Company’s  financial transactions, financial performance & cash flows.
• Ensure accounts transparency & compliance to help the business achieve its objectives.
• Ensure an optimal communication and relationship with all internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure that the Company complies with all Corp. guidelines & Federal laws & regulations

Competencies & Skills Required

Candidate Requirements:

• 5+ years working experience (multinational environments preferred)
• Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting & Financial management
• A’ Class certified accountant (per local law)
• Knowledge of US GAAP as well as local GAAP
• Computer literate (advanced MS office Excel knowledge preferred)
• Fluent in English/Greek.
• Strategic and break through thinking
• Results oriented & multitasking
• Analytical skills & time management abilities
• Project management
