Job Description

Summary:

Determine, and implement operating methods, systems, and work instructions. These should ensure the most efficient use of labor, materials, space, and equipment. The goal is to manufacture product on time and to the highest quality standards. We must do this in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

You will report to our Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead.

Essential Functions:

  1. Ensure that production machinery, specifically on their assigned lines, is in good working order for production to run smoothly.
  2. Lead and track the achievement of annual targets related to the indicators under your responsibility. These targets include accuracy in data collection, analysis, implementation of containment and corrective actions. Lead efforts to ensure that the Continuity Team, Design Team, and Test Team support the plant's objective.
  3. Design and increase manufacturing process operations, considering efficiency, quality and safety aspects, to ensure process improvement and maintain compliance with best manufacturing practices.
  4. Provide (or investigate) alternatives for downtime processes and materials to avoid production interruption and lead the approval documentation of alternative methods (Deviations or equivalent approval documentation) in compliance with established procedures.
  5. Monitor and evaluate existing manufacturing processes on assigned production lines to identify opportunities for improvement. Provide solutions to process problems and present improvement projects to management. We do this to of the plant's production processes.

Minimum Requirements:

1.Industrial, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering Degree

2.Full bilingual English/Spanish.

3.Manage PC, windows programs.

4.2 years of experience in related role.

The Preferred- You might also have:

1.Six Sigma and Lean Knowledge or certification.

2.Statistical analysis knowledge.

3.Problem solving tools knowledge.
