The Opportunity:
 

CACI is seeking a Network Engineer to join our team .


Responsibilities:

A day in the life (just a few of the things you may do on any given day):

As the Network Engineer, you will:

  • Designs solutions, integrates, configures, deploys, tests and provides support for numerous types of network devices, interfaces and methodologies
  • Optimizes end-to-end system performance and dataflow management
  • Configures/optimizes network to connect to various front- and back-end components
  • Coordinates with system engineering and dataflow efforts to ensure proper mission operations with minimum down time
  • Facilitates implementation of high-speed, scalable, fault-tolerant network topologies as applicable to WAN/LAN design
  • Implements specific network solutions to support server requirements to include load-balancing, VPNs, firewall contexts, and network address translation (NAT) where appropriate
  • Minimizes network latency and maximizes data throughput through design analysis and network performance monitoring tools
  • Manages assigned tasks and provides guidance to junior Network Engineers
  • Validates new/existing dataflow and data formats
  • Coordinates with appropriate dataflow organizations and end-customer recipients, follow-on data repositories and tasking organizations and understands potential adverse impacts on system-wide dataflow


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph Clearance
  • Ten (10) years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university is required
  • Four (4) years of additional network engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
  • Technologies/Capabilities we are looking for:
    • Firewalls (McAfee, Palo Alto, Sonic)
    • Dynamic multipoint virtual private network (DMVPN)
    • Proxy/Load Balancers (F5)
    • Routing/WAN
    • Virtual Private Networks (VPN)
    • HP Network Node Manager (HPNNM)
    • HP Network Automation(HPNA)
    • System Administration (CentOS)
    • Cisco Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting. (AAA) and Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE)AAA/ISE
    • Cisco Switches

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$94,400 - $198,300
