Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop Lean Lines

• Collaborate on the design and installation of lean manufacturing lines
• Define and control production processes including tooling, equipment, and operating standards
• Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment
• Develop, verify, and validate production capable CNC programs using CAM software (such as NX, Solidworks, Creo and MasterCam) for 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centers
• Support NPI through providing technical expertise around processes, quality, and programs

Daily Problem Solving

• Monitor daily management systems to problem solve production interruptions
• Identify and implement containment and corrective actions to ongoing problems
• Act as liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing Operations
• Work together with the lean organization to collaborate on solutions to address recurring roadblocks

Identify and Implement CI Actions

• Contribute to technological developments on lean manufacturing lines
• Execute routine but complex analyses using a lean mindset to identify improvement opportunities
• Participate as a process expert or team leader in kaizen events for the department
• Other duties as required to ensure adherence to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to work flexible shift - Our facility operates 24 hours per day on three shifts. You will occasionally be required to provide assistance to shifts outside of normal working hours
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
• Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment.
• Advanced capability with MS Excel & MS PowerPoint
• Experience using CAD software such as Solidworks or NX

Pay Transparency:

The base pay range for this position is $81,700.00 - $136,700.00. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
