Position Summary

We are seeking a forward-thinking and technically skilled developer to lead rapid prototyping of Android applications and Knox SDK/API integration tailored for vertical industry use cases. This role involves deep collaboration with ISV/SI partners, leveraging Samsung Knox technologies, and driving innovation in enterprise mobility solutions.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Develop prototype Android applications using Samsung Knox Platform, Knox SDK, and Knox APIs.

2. Deliver technical workshops and enablement sessions for ISV partners on Knox Platform for Enterprise.

3. Lead technical collaboration with ISV/SI partners to create and validate proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions.

4. Prepare and present weekly progress reports to internal stakeholders.

5. Advocate and implement modern development methodologies in both Android and backend development.

*This position will be hired under a third-party contract.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Equivalent industry experience with a strong portfolio of Android and enterprise application development.
• Strong in Kotlin and Java for Android development.
• Strong in Backend development: Spring Boot, Node.js, Kotlin/Java.
• Strong in Web Development (Frontend): HTML5, CSS3/Tailwind CSS, JS, React.js, Next.js, TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of Android SDK, including components and Android Framework internals.
• Experience with Wear OS, Jetpack Compose, MVVM architecture, and Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger).
• Familiarity with Android Management APIs and Device Policy Controller (DPC).
• Ability to design intuitive and visually appealing interfaces following Material Design guidelines.
• Ability to adopt design UI/UX to code implementation including UX workflow.
• Familiar with API Development: RESTful, GraphQL,
• Database: MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite.
• Web Servers: Apache, Nginx, Deployment: Linux, (CentOS/Ubuntu), Docker.
• Experience with Firebase (Authentication * Cloud Messaging)
• Integration with cloud platforms and enterprise APIs.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities
• English proficiency is preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to challenge existing practices and propose modern methodologies, such:
  - Modular architecture, Clean Architecture
  - Microservices, Serverless backend design
  - Agile/Scrum, DevOps is plus.
• High adaptability to emerging technologies and Android platform updates
