About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join our HIS team in a clerical role. In this rewarding opportunity you will join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team as a Health Information Services Clerk at our Albert St location in East Melbourne.

You will be responsible for efficiently preparing and scanning patient records into our Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

A strong sense of customer service is required as you will regularly liaise with both internal and external customers responding to general enquiries and actioning these requests as needed in accordance with relevant privacy policies and legislation.

You will work alongside a supportive administrative team and report to the Health Information Services Manager.

About You
You will be a highly organised and process driven individual. Critical to this role is a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and efficient time management skills.

You are able to handle the fast pace and multiple demands of this position being able to prioritise tasks appropriately to meet timelines.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Strong customer service skills to effectively engage internal stakeholders and team members
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • A strong level of computer literacy/knowledge
  • Previous Medical Records clerical experience is desirable but not essential
