The Role
Fidelity Asset Management Solutions (FAMS) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build microservices and user interfaces that support Asset Allocation products. In this role, you will apply solid software engineering practices across implementation, validation, testing, deployment, and maintenance to deliver tools used by portfolio analysts and portfolio managers. You will also help your team adopt effective engineering practices to ensure we are building the right solutions and building them well.

The Team
You will join an Agile engineering team within Asset Management Technology (AMT), which supports Fidelity’s investment functions through modern engineering practices and scalable platforms. The team builds and enhances Asset Allocation capabilities within FAMS, partnering closely with product, architecture, and business stakeholders.
The environment emphasizes strong engineering fundamentals such as ATDD, continuous integration and delivery, automation, and thoughtful design. You’ll help advance a technology platform that supports global investment strategies, risk analytics, and key decision‑making across the asset management ecosystem.
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
