We are looking for our next “Maintenance Engineer” in Hitachi Energy at Power Transformers ,Kartal- Istanbul, who is eager to contribute the change with continuous improvement mindset and inspire people in the organization in order to reach the level of ‘’World Class Manufacturing ‘’ necessities with below qualifications;
Your background
- University Degree, in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering,
- At least 2 years of experience in working in maintenance, transformers experience is an asset,
- PLC experience/Control panel diagnostics and schematic drawings,
- SAP Maintenance PM Module experience
- Leading TPM activities
- Ability to organize & prioritize to meet the specifications and deadlines,
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills,
- Ability to adapt and manage fast-paced environment and ability to change direction when priorities, deadlines etc. shift,
- Team player, analytical mindset and the ability to motivate others as well as continuous change & learning,
- Lean Manufacturing & Operational Excellence knowledge,
- Experience on Lean 6 Sigma methodology is preferable,
- Good command of written and spoken English & Turkish,
- Completed military service for male applicants,
Your responsibilities

- Challenge, analyze, listen and express organizational needs.
- Maintain electrical and mechanical services through Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Plan and prioritize workload to support production and maximize working time
- Collaborates with the team to define maintenance plans for new production machines,equipments or facilities, and consults
- on ways to improve reliability, maintainability and safety of equipment and/or facility,
- Solves major technical, equipment or facilities problems in order to achieve higher performance of the production lines,
- Ensures compliance with Group health, safety and environmental directives and that regulations are implemented, while monitoring, reporting progress and results. Driving improvements; Assesses risks and safety hazards and implements plans to ensure people and equipment safety.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing methodologies for continuous improvement & learning organization.
- Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate non-conformities, and deliver excellent customer service
- Partner with cross-functional support teams in improving the proprietary tools and systems
- Manage and set-up daily MDI KPI following S,Q,D,I,C
- Monitor and analyze results with methodology of A3,8D to clarify main root causes for the problems
- Understanding and managing the processes and being role model of MOC management
