Animal Hospital of Regency Park is a general practice and dermatology animal hospital all under one roof. We are currently looking to hire a Veterinary Assistant with at least 1+ years of experience. It is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable rooming patients, assisting in surgery, drawing blood and running bloodwork, know x-rays and positioning, general hospital cleaning, understand the importance of client education, have experience with proper animal handling and restraint, be able to use in-clinic lab equipment, and working beside the veterinarians and other team members with daily task. Working a rotating Saturday shift is required. Requirements

• 1+ years of prior experience in a veterinary clinic
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Dispensing and administering medications ordered by the veterinarian
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Caring and compassionate toward our patients and clients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
