Job Details

Supports the planning and implementation of programs that promote lifelong engagement between alumni/benefactors and Jefferson. This role assists with coordinating programs, events, communications, and other initiatives that help maintain strong connections with our constituents and encourage continued involvement with the institution. The position contributes to outreach efforts and relationship-building activities that support the University's mission and philanthropic priorities and will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Office of Institutional Advancement and other campus partners to support engagement initiatives and ensure the successful execution of programs and activities.

Job Description

  • Handles the day-to-day priorities of the advancement office including providing front office support and visitor customer service.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support including calendar management and support for advancement events which may include meetings, events, reunions/homecoming, networking programs, regional gatherings and more.
  • Update and maintain records in the CRM/database, track event participation, and support reporting on engagement metrics.
  • Tracks the office budget, invoice and vendor payments, and timelines.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Less than 1 year
  • Strong organizational skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent administrative and customer service abilities.
  • Experience with database software systems/CRM and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to engage effectively with colleagues, alumni, benefactors, students, and other constituents in alignment with Jefferson’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
