As Food Services Assistant you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Services Carina.

Located just 7 km east of the CBD at Carina, and set in a homely, community-oriented and friendly environment surrounded by landscaped gardens, Vela St Vincent’s Care Services Carina will deliver outstanding levels of wellbeing and comfort for our residents and a positive uplifting work/life balance for our staff.

Things that work for us:

  • An ability to provide a catering and kitchen service that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation

  • Experience in hospitality, an aged care facility, hospital environment and/or related field ideal

  • Providing services that support high quality food services outcomes for residents, customers and staff of the Facility

  • Ability to work a rotating roster, flexible

  • High level of customer service skills

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities

  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
