As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, Aftermarket HVAC Segment, based in Dubai. The Aftermarket team executes service, maintenance, and retrofit projects on Building Technologies and Solutions, including but not limited to HVAC Systems.
You will be responsible for all activities related to the site implementation of the HVAC system, including but not limited to:
- Building customer relationships.
- Coordinating on-site activities among Customer, Sub-contractors, Supervisors, and both field and office teams.
- Tracking and implementing scheduled planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Managing assigned L&M and POC jobs, which encompass testing and commissioning, and providing timely progress reports.
- Submitting required reports promptly to the office team for job invoicing.

How you will do itAs a pivotal member of this team, you'll handle the following responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Providing essential technical support to the team for smooth job execution.
- Collecting updates on ongoing jobs and reporting to the Ops Manager weekly.
- Following up on the billing of completed jobs in a timely manner.
- Ensuring timely order placement of parts/materials and following up on delivery.
You will liaise with all concerned parties for on-time reporting, transparency, and prompt resolution of any site-related issues. Your work will focus significantly on the technical aspects of HVAC systems. While official training will be provided, substantial learning will occur in the field, primarily through self-study and mentorship from experienced staff and technical support.
Always demonstrate your expertise by conducting system operation training and creating handover documents to guarantee a smooth transition to customers, while maintaining high safety standards for yourself and sub-contractors.
