What You Will Do:
The HVAC Application Engineer II will be responsible for providing technical support to the sales team in pre-sales and post-sales activities. This includes preparing technical proposals, validating system configurations, and ensuring that project deliverables meet client specifications. The engineer will also assist in the selection of HVAC equipment and controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide pre-sales support on HVAC equipment and systems, including but not limited to chillers, AHUs, VAVs, and controls.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to develop and provide engineered equipment submittals.
- Participate in system configuration validation and equipment selection for new construction and retrofit projects.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve application and order issues.
- Support training and knowledge sharing within the team and with external stakeholders.
What We Look For:
- Professional Degree in Mechanical or equivalent engineering field.
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in HVAC application engineering, with strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
- Ability to perform effectively in a collaborative team environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication in both English and Spanish.
