About the team:

Our award-winning FIS Asset Finance solution enables financial institutions around the globe to quantify and mitigate risk, manage capital and the liquidity buffer, and apply risk-adjusted performance measures throughout the organization to optimize their risk-return profile. What you will be doing:

We are looking for a professional who is passionate about technologies and has strong analytical skills to take on the following challenges in the Asset Finance team:

• Database monitoring
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Deep understanding of relational (MSSQL and Oracle) as well as NoSQL data stores, methods and approaches
• Database performance tuning and optimization (table partitioning, tablespace disk management, table fragmentation)
• Proficiency in complex SQL, Scripting, performance tuning and database optimization techniques.
• Actively participate in backup and restore process design.

What you bring:

• 4+ years of experience in implementing and maintaining data management solutions
• In-depth knowledge of queries for SQL & NoSQL databases, familiarity with SQL Server, Oracle and DB sharding
• Proficient in optimizing complex queries and store procedures, optimized indexing
• Database design skills
• Understanding of database security and practices
• Proficiency in shell scripting
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows
• Knowledge of cloud database solutions such as Oracle cloud, MS Azure
• Experience in Cloud technologies such as Azure – S3/EBS/EFS, Storage Queues, Serverless functions, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
