The U.S. Director, Payer Marketing and Fulfillment will be responsible for the design and implementation of payer tactics that support the market access goals for the US Pharmaceutical organization.  As well, the role is responsible for patient fulfillment and pricing strategies including co-pay cards and digital pharmacy hub partnerships.   This individual will lead strategy, development, and execution of resources with cross-functional and agency partners to successfully execute the access and fulfillment plans.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Accountable for the development and execution of pharmaceutical brand-specific payer resources, including product value propositions, formulary pull-through materials, and patient affordability programs.

  • Strategic lead for programs to insulate the prescription (e.g., fulfillment strategies such as digital pharmacy hub partnerships and prior authorizations).

  • Roll-out of training and tactics in partnership with field-based teams (e.g., Market Access, Sales, Marketing).

  • Engage and manage agencies and other vendors in development of strategy and the associated promotional materials and tactics.

  • Manage budget to ensure effective execution of tactics.

  • Measure KPIs and deliver insights to organization for optimization of programs and future strategies.

What you’ll bring to Alcon:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +18 yrs; Assoc.+14 yrs; M.S.+7 yrs; PhD+6 yrs)

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

  • 10 Years of Relevant Experience

  • 6 Years of Demonstrated Leadership

Preferred Experience:

  • 7+ years of relevant experiences which could include Market Access, payer marketing, and patient support programs.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to drive performance effectively and efficiently within a matrix organization, and form strong, productive partnerships.

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to drive insights and strategy.
