As a Regional Sales Manager you will lead and supervise a team of Sales Representatives in order to get the Sales & Promotion objectives of the entire line of surgical products to doctors, clinics, hospitals, dealers and to maximize sales and gain market share as well as to execute sales strategies to assure maximum operating efficiency, profitability and market penetration while you are based in Istanbul. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Establish strong relationships with key stakeholder in order to achieve an influential position as to promote the use of Alcon products in the clinics and to understand and satisfy customer requirements.
Work in coordination and effectively with other related departments, analyze and interpret the regional sales results in order to undertake the actions that develop and maximize the business results. To supervise sales forces to ensure achievement of sales, expenses and marketing program targets.
Manage all activities with the local dealers and supervise the conformity of the dealers to the Alcon sales and marketing strategies and business conduct.
Supervise the design and implementation of appropriate strategies and plans according to customer needs in alignment with the overall company strategies and to identify and communicate new business opportunities.
Provide accurate information to sales and marketing team in order to elaborate sales and expenses forecast and to inform National Sales Manager and the marketing area about behavior of competitors and customers’ needs.
Implement strategies and programs for customers and follow them up to accomplish goals established by management.
Create an effective territory structure, evaluate it periodically and update it if necessary.
Identify, train, motivate and recommend the high performers to the management for possible future different positions within the company.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the medical device industry.
At least 3 years in a managerial position with team leadership responsibilities.
Strong background in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Fluent in Turkish and Intermediate English.
Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Proven sales and business acumen, with a track record of driving growth and capturing market opportunities.
Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to thrive in highly competitive environments.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills, both technical and interpersonal.
Valid driver’s license.
