The SAP Senior IT Business Systems Analyst is responsible to support order to cash (OTC) areas of SAP SD Order management process including orders, pricing, billing and fulfillment. This role is to understand end to end process of OTC and support business on day to day transactional/master data activities, month end close, Checkouts, Integrations and other activities.  Collaboration with business, Build and other IT teams is key for success.

The OTC Senior IT Business Systems Analyst is responsible for support activities related to Order to Cash master data, transactional data, month end close activities, System checkouts, SAP jobs, interface issues and process failures. The Systems Analyst will also be involved in development/Configuration for projects/changes by collaborating closely with business, build team and onshore resources. 


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to OTC team on and resolve issues in SAP system.
  • Configure and support SAP Sales and Distribution module.
  • Work with business teams to understand the process end to end, requirements and provide solutions.
  • Provide functional specifications for new requirements, collaborate with development teams and perform end to end testing.
  • Deliver developments within project timelines/SLAs.
  • Resolve production issues/fixes with key focus on job monitoring critical for close/month end activities.
  • Work on monthly production and quarterly financial close and other activities.
  • Interpret issues and find creative solutions to help the business with their long-term needs.
  • Read, debug and troubleshoot ABAP programs and service integrations is good to have.
  • Develop runbooks and guide resources as required.
  • Regular interaction with onshore team teams in different Sabre locations.
  • Partners with peers across the IT organization to solve complex business problems.
  • Capable of working individually or as a team member.
  • The workload is split, 60% on support and 40% on business requirements/ enhancements.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience with hands-on configuration and support of SAP Sales and Distribution module
  • At least two full implementations of Sales and Distribution module serving as functional expert
  • Understanding of integration points between Sales and Distribution and other modules (FI/MM/PM)
  • Ability to understand integrations between different applications and provide support to resolve integration issues in SAP
  • Experience in Customer, Vendor, Materials, Contracts, Order placement, Billing, Pricing routines, Invoicing, Variant Configurator, FSCM.
  • Exposure to SAP BRIM - CM, CC, CI, SOM would be an added advantage
  • Experience in tools Coupa, ReadSoft and Chrome River would be an added advantage
  • Familiarity with technical design, ABAP coding, debugging and troubleshooting (not looking for core developer) would be an added advantage
  • Ability to serve as the SME and support business needs for both high priority and small enhancements
  • Detail oriented, self-directed with strong problem solving skills
  • Experience in reports development, interfaces, Conversion processes, User exit Enhancements, Workflows and output forms
  • Good documentation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Should be able to support during US CST daytime until 3PM
