Job Description: Customer Service Representative at Common Companion Vet Co.
Position Overview:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for clients at Common Companion Vet Co. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for both clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction: Greet clients warmly, manage check-ins, and address inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Appointment Management: Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments, ensuring efficient use of the veterinary team’s time.
- Communication: Facilitate clear communication between clients and veterinary staff, relaying important information and updates.
- Transaction Processing: Handle payments accurately, maintain financial records, and process invoices.
- Record Keeping: Maintain and update client and pet records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Office Support: Assist with administrative tasks, ensure the reception area is tidy, and manage inventory of office supplies.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with veterinary software or willingness to learn
- Compassion for animals and their owners
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a veterinary or medical setting is a plus
