Our Newest Opportunity: 

The Sales Operations Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Regional VP, Growth on all initiatives to improve efficiency and integrity of sales and financial data attributed to growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

CRM/System Producer Support & Training

  • Training for new hires and system onboarding
    • Reminder training on all CRM's on sales process  
    • Sales Enablement System Activations 
    • Point of contact for all questions CRM related 
      • Assist with sales enablement tools and best use/deployment 
      • Review for usage data and work with producer who is not currently using either at all or barely to determine do they want to continue to use - if not get them removed - if yes work with them to ensure full understanding
      • Assist best practices for intent data to drive convergence/cross-sales 
      • New hires 
    • Make sure they understand where to go for all resources
      • Meet with them individually in addition to Growth Leader 1:1 to discuss resources and CRM - allows Growth Leader to focus on actual activity and coaching  

Producer Reporting 

  • Product & Oversee Scorecards
  • Highlight Reel / Leaderboard
  • Pinnacle qualification tracking
  • Growth Reporting Management
    • Net Growth Report Management 
    • Daily audits to adhere to above/below 10% revenue variance.  
    • Delinquent opportunity updates 
    • Opportunity commissions verified and accurate
  • Ongoing Project Work
    • CRM Data Integrity  
    • Drip Reports 
      • Maintain data error reports and tackle errors as needed (i.e. products without associated revenue) 
      • Central Audits - general agents/carrier accuracy by product 

Internal New Opportunity Management & Auditing

  • Delinquent Opportunities (products not linked) - sending notices to producers to have AM team update 
  • Closed Won Opportunity  
    • Manage Sales Intake Form process to ensure form goes in correctly with ALL required info to avoid commission problems down the line 
    • Verify accurate consultants listed 
    • Verify commission has been entered. 
    • Verify product lines for accuracy.  
    • Confirm convergence 

Epic data extraction/reporting

  • All manual right now 
  • Extract new business from Epic and drop onto required data form for data team submission to upload into PBI 
  • Request new user added to Epic or D365 as needed

Commission Audit Management & Administration 

  • New Business  
  • Verify agreed upon commission documents are uploaded (including commission split confirmations) 
  • Confirm commission in system reflects documentation. 
  • Confirm commission splits are accurate. 
  • Track first commission payment against agreed upon commission after Closed Won Opportunity  
    • Quarterly commission audit check to identify increases or decreases in commissions. 
    • Tracking down missing revenue when occurs  

Partner with Marketing

  • Drive new & existing producer adoption of new systems & tools; providing training as needed
  • Event support
    • Push/promote market, region and national events with team
    • Work closely as first eyes on marketing work product for events to ensure error free
    • Drive ideas to the team on events 
    • Promote activity to producers to drive attendance to webinars and/or events in local markets 

Zywave / MiEdge / Seismic administration responsibilities

  • Add users
  • Train team on how to use systems
  • Monitor team utilization

Executive Support

  • Slide Decks 
  • Meeting Support 

Additional responsibilities assigned by management

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:

  • Candidate should be well organized, detailed-oriented and able to multi-task
  • Must be self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities, a large work load and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational intelligence and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated analytical, technical, and computer skills
  • Problem solving skills and a strong work ethic are necessary

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Prior experience in broker agency or working within the insurance sector in a marketing capacity is a plus
  • Data management or related environment experience, and will have worked with large volumes of

               customer data including filtering, running queries and segmentation.

  • Previous relevant CRM experience in Microsoft D365, Salesforce and Applied Epic preferred
  • Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a must
  • MiEdge and Dun & Bradstreet experience is preferred

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $65,000 to $75,000 per year.


Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
