Key Performance Metrics for PLP Buyer:

1. Sourcing & Cost Metrics

• Cost Savings Achieved: Total cost reduction through negotiations, alternate sourcing, or value engineering.
• Target Cost Achievement: Percentage of components sourced within target cost.
• Quote Turnaround Time: Time taken to obtain and evaluate supplier quotations.
• BOM Costing: Lead BOM costing and commercial discussions related to New Business Pursuits.

2. Project & Timeline Metrics

• On-Time Supplier Nomination: Monitoring Percentage of suppliers nominated within project timelines.
• SOP Readiness: Supplier readiness for Start of Production (SOP) as per schedule.
• Project Milestone Adherence: Timely completion of purchasing activities aligned with project gates.

4. Change & Risk Management

• Engineering Change Implementation Time: Implementation and commercial validation of changes.
• Launch Issue Resolution Time: Timely resolution of supplier-related launch issues.
• Risk Mitigation: Program risk identification and mitigation.

5. Flawless Launch:

• Contract Completion Rate: Monitoring Percentage of suppliers with finalized contracts before SOP.
• Development Tracking: Tracking development of parts committed for localization in Business case. 

6. Collaboration & Communication:

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effective stakeholder Management to complete work with high efficiency.
• Effective Supplier Communication: Effective communication with suppliers on RFQ's and any other business topic.
