As our Medical Manager for Hematology, you will be responsible for developing and executing the medical strategy for GSK’s non solid tumor assets in Algeria.
You will provide medical leadership across cross‑functional teams, oversee evidence generation and medical communications, ensure medical governance and compliance, and support clinical development and lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead development and execution of the regional medical plan aligned to global medical strategy and local needs.
Provide scientific and clinical expertise on non solid tumor biology, treatment paradigms, and evolving data to internal teams (Commercial, R&D, Regulatory).
Oversee and support clinical trial strategy, investigator-initiated studies (IIS), and regional study implementation.
Drive medical affairs activities: publication planning, congress strategy, symposia, advisory boards, and scientific materials.
Review and approve medically related content for external communications in line with GSK policies.
Interpret and communicate clinical evidence to stakeholders; translate data into clinical and payer insights.
Partner with pharmacovigilance to ensure timely identification and escalation of safety signals and adverse events.
Support pricing, market access, and reimbursement activities with clinical rationale and evidence.
Mentor/line manage junior medical staff where applicable; coordinate with global medical leads.
Capture, analyze and report scientific insights and competitive intelligence to inform strategy.
Work arrangement: This role is on-site in Algeria with occasional, approx. 30% travel across the country and region.
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
Medical degree (MD) with relevant hematology Medical Affairs experience or Hematology clinical experience (hematologist ).
Typically 3–5+ years’ experience in hematology medical affairs, clinical development, or related functions; non solid tumors expertise required.
Experience managing projects and working in matrix organization.
Fluency in both French and English languages
Demonstrated communication skills and ability to engage for difficult discussion
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Multiple myeloma experience
Strong scientific credibility and clinical judgement.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
Strategic thinker with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of global/regional teams.
