Job Description

The High Velocity Sales- Deal Desk Specialist will ensure an organized sales process workflow and that orders are accurate as set up and processed through our CRM. Reporting to the Controller, you will take a team player approach, and motivated by continuous process improvement. You will develop or use sales measurement models and diagnostic tools to help identify sales performance indicators, key areas of opportunity and sales force training needs. This role is hybrid work friendly.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will ensure accurate processing of orders in our CRM (Salesforce) and accounting & billing systems (Netsuite) ensuring that all deals have complete and accurate information and are ready to be invoiced by Finance in a timely manner
  • You will partner with Revenue operations, Sales, and Finance teams to document and improve processes, resolve discrepancies, and help achieve our corporate KPIs
  • You will review a variety of sales order forms and agreements with varying levels of complexity for accuracy, while ensuring all required approvals, such as discounts and contract terms are flagged for appropriate approvals
  • You will assist in delivering process improvements, training/coaching, and related documentation to sales teams to understand and deliver compliance with all deal processes
  • You will safeguard and manage data quality in Salesforce for all sales opportunities and closed orders while ensuring internal finance and operational policies are followed.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Bachelors degree in Business or similar field
  • Typically requires 2+ years of relevant applicable experience
  • 1+ years' experience in sales operations, legal or contracts administration experience as an individual contributor capacity, preferably at a SaaS or high-growth company
  • Salesforce experience considered a strong asset
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work cross functionally across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Customer Success
  • Ability to work in an environment with both internal and external stakeholders
