We are seeking a highly driven and commercially oriented FX Sales professional to join our team in Brazil. The candidate will be responsible for expanding Citi’s client franchise and driving FX revenue growth, with a particular focus on onshore BRL flows. This role requires a strong combination of client coverage, market expertise, and internal collaboration to deliver tailored solutions to institutional and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Generation & Client Coverage

  • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to expand Citi’s FX client footprint and maximize revenue generation, with emphasis on onshore BRL flows.
  • Originate new business opportunities and deepen relationships with existing clients to increase wallet share.
  • Identify client needs and proactively deliver tailored FX solutions to support hedging, trading, and investment objectives.

Strategic Planning & Market Analysis

  • Support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis and market insights.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of a clear commercial plan, including defined priorities, market penetration targets, and revenue goals.
  • Monitor macroeconomic developments and FX market trends to identify actionable opportunities.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build, maintain, and monetize relationships with institutional clients through value-added advisory and commercial engagement.
  • Effectively position Citi’s FX capabilities to drive product adoption and enhance client satisfaction.

Platform Leverage & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Capitalize on Citi’s leading sub-custody platform by generating FX flows from global investors.
  • Develop strong partnerships with Securities and Fund Services to unlock cross-selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver and develop new products.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in a client-facing role within financial markets, preferably FX Sales, with a strong track record of revenue generation.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and maintain client relationships through commercial excellence and value-added solutions.
  • Solid understanding of FX products and global macroeconomic dynamics.
  • Experience working with institutional clients and/or global investors is highly desirable.

  • Proficient in developing impactful materials using charts, graphs, and data visualization
  • Confident presenting to senior stakeholders and clients

Languages

  • Fluency in English (mandatory)
  • Spanish is a strong advantage
