DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

The Analyst, Cloud GTM (Go-to-Market) Strategy and Operations will play a crucial role in supporting the explosive growth of Salesforce products. This role is a hybrid of traditional roles in strategic planning, sales strategy, finance, and analytics – requiring a mix of market & business analysis, sales optimization, and business operational support.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is part of a high-performance, results oriented team that values innovation. Success in this role means assisting leadership to drive the continued success of Salesforce by supporting our product growth strategy. Sample projects range from the strategic to the operational including designing & building new data visualization tools, evaluating worldwide market opportunities, business planning, market segmentation, sales pipeline analysis, scale & automation efforts and regular review of key performance metrics.

Deliverables include detailed analytic models, custom performance analysis, building a scalable reporting infrastructure, and packaging findings into presentation-ready content for Salesforce executives. The role requires interaction with multiple functional teams in the organization (such as Finance, Operations, Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Success) and provides exposure to senior executives. The successful candidate will have relentless curiosity and possess a passion for creating innovative analysis to identify opportunities. They will be comfortable diving into large datasets, excel at extracting insights from data, and converting ideas to action.

Your Impact

  • Build tools and dashboards that help stakeholders derive new insights & learnings
  • Lead ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations
  • Design and interpret key performance metrics. Deliver insights & recommendations
  • Find new ways to automate existing processes and drive process improvements
  • Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives
  • Support strategic initiatives including evaluating areas of opportunity for the businesses
  • Troubleshooting operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems/ processes to fix root causes
  • Prepare analysis and recommendations for strategic decision making

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $103,500 to $103,500.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $95,000 to $103,500.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
