Job Description:
This job is responsible for overseeing the Operations team and ensuring they meet deadlines, execute, and coordinate tasks. Key responsibilities include supporting continuous business improvements, reviewing operations procedures, implementing changes, ensuring adherence to operations procedures, providing guidance to employees, handling exception requests, and referring more complex problems to a senior manager. Job expectations include having an awareness of foundational operations and familiarity in a specific product line.

The position requires an individual who is production and quality focused and who is capable of working in a high volume and demanding continuous production environment. The individual must be a self-starter, able to be cross-trained on multiple pieces of equipment (high speed and low speed), a team player, organized, and results oriented with exceptional work habits. Ability to stand for long periods, up to entire shift. Ability to bend and move about the production floor, to reach various parts of the production equipment, as needed. Ability to lift 25-50 pounds. Ability to monitor and respond to production runs visually, in addition to the use of a computerized production program, where applicable. Flexibility in work schedule, and decision-making ability are also required. Position requires compliance with all department and card industry policies and safety regulations. This position will work under the direct supervision of the team manager.​

Responsibilities:

  • Resolves day-to-day problems and executes deliverables within the business unit
  • Provides functional expertise knowledge to projects or initiatives relating to the business unit
  • Manages team workload and provides general oversight and direction to team
  • Maintains internal, operational, and financial controls and works within risk appetite of the business unit
  • Reviews processes to ensure they are efficient and implements process improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous production experience including 2nd Shift work schedule
  • Microsoft Office Proficient - Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in high speed production environment.
