We’re looking for a Manager, Engineering to be part of making this happen.

Position Overview

The Manager, Engineering – Endpoint leads the development and delivery of Arctic Wolf’s Aurora Endpoint product line, driving execution of high-quality, secure, and scalable endpoint solutions.

This role is responsible for a distributed engineering organization, including a well-established team based in Bangalore, India, delivering across multiple concurrent initiatives. The leader will ensure strong alignment with product strategy, consistent execution, and high-performing team dynamics across global teams.

A critical mandate of this role is to lead the adoption of AI-driven software engineering practices, enabling teams to leverage modern tooling to improve development velocity, code quality, and delivery outcomes.

This position reports to the Director of Engineering, Endpoint Products.

Key Responsibilities

Endpoint Product Delivery

  • Own engineering execution for the Aurora Endpoint platform, ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions
  • Partner with Product Management to define and deliver on roadmap commitments while contributing to longer-term strategy
  • Collaborate with Architecture to evolve endpoint technical direction and platform capabilities
  • Ensure alignment to customer outcomes, performance expectations, and security requirements

Global Team Leadership

  • Lead distributed teams, with primary responsibility for an established Bangalore-based engineering organization
  • Drive execution across multiple projects, ensuring accountability, visibility, and consistent delivery
  • Establish clear priorities, remove blockers, and maintain strong operational rhythm across time zones
  • Focus on optimizing team performance and maturity rather than organizational build-out

AI-Driven Engineering Transformation

  • Champion adoption of AI-assisted development, including coding, debugging, testing, and release processes
  • Build team capability in effectively leveraging AI tools and workflows
  • Define and institutionalize best practices for AI-enabled software development
  • Continuously evaluate emerging tools to improve engineering efficiency and quality

Execution Excellence

  • Own delivery outcomes across teams, ensuring predictable and high-quality releases
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tooling, and development practices
  • Ensure adherence to secure coding standards, ISMS controls, and SDLC best practices

People Leadership

  • Develop leaders, engineers, and teams through coaching, mentorship, and performance management
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Support career growth, succession planning, and leadership development within the organization

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Security Services (S2), Customer Success, and Support teams
  • Ensure alignment between engineering execution and customer value delivery
  • Communicate progress, risks, and strategic direction to senior leadership

Operational & Financial Management

  • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and capacity planning
  • Contribute to directorate-level planning and operational strategy

Qualifications

Required

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering leadership or related roles
  • Proven experience leading distributed/global engineering teams, including collaboration with India-based teams
  • Strong experience in endpoint, systems-level, or security-focused software development
  • Demonstrated ability to drive execution across multiple concurrent projects with measurable outcomes
  • Track record of improving engineering processes, delivery predictability, and team performance
  • Experience driving or adopting modern development practices, including CI/CD and automation
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred

  • Experience in endpoint security or cybersecurity products
  • Experience leading AI-enabled development transformations or implementing developer productivity tooling
  • Background in cross-platform development environments (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Experience managing managers or senior technical leads
  • Familiarity with scaling engineering operations in a high-growth SaaS environment

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 10% travel, including potential travel to Bangalore, India
