The Relationship Manager is a trusted advisor responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of law firm clients. This role focuses on driving deposit growth, originating loans, and cross-selling Webster’s full suite of products and services. The Director partners closely with senior leadership and product specialists to ensure retention, deepen relationships, and deliver exceptional client experience. Success in this role requires a proactive, sales-driven mindset and the ability to execute strategic business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive deposit growth with a primary focus on escrow/trust accounts and operating accounts.
Identify and pursue new law firm relationships through targeted prospecting and networking.
Develop and execute strategies to achieve aggressive deposit and revenue goals.
Retain and deepen existing client relationships through regular engagement and strategic reviews.
Ensure high-quality loan growth by supporting underwriting and credit processes.
Monitor portfolio performance and proactively address client needs.
Partner with internal partners including Commercial Card Services, and Private Banking to deliver holistic solutions.
Facilitate introductions and coordinate internal resources to maximize client value.
Serve as a trusted advisor, providing consultative guidance and tailored solutions.
Maintain high standards of service and risk management to protect the bank and client relationships.

The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $135,000. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
