Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Co-op Trainee (GIS Intern) (Saudi National) to join our team!

In this role, you will join a leading professional GIS, Engineers, Project Managers teams working on multiple projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Learn and assist with research and analysis.

• Learn to perform queries, reports and analyze spatial data.

• Learn to prepare studies and reports.

• Learn to develop and update various maps for exhibits, reports and meeting at different scales and layouts through the use of GIS/ desktop software (ArcGIS).

• Learn and work on: Data capturing and management, data Analysis and modelling, mapping and visualization, decision support and problem solving.

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Incumbent must be enrolled in GIS curriculum at an accredited college or university and have completed typically 3+ years of studies in GIS discipline.

• Proficiency in one or more GIS software platforms.

• English language: Speaking and Writing is a must.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Moderate knowledge in analysis using Excel, Python, SPSS, R, and/or SQL.

• Moderate knowledge in Relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
