The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Process and Systems Transformation (PST) Team:

RTX has an opening for a Sr. Manager, Platform ArchitectProcess and Systems Transformation (PST) (Sr. Manager, Enterprise Architecture and Strategy) position.

What You Will Do:

  • Assess business and application requirements. Provide business unit consultation, and solution modeling, along with development of logical, physical and conceptual architectures.
  • Lead and/or participate in platform design activities and projects to help drive change in support of global, regional, and domestic initiatives.
  • Follow solution architecture / design throughout the lifecycle to ensure the delivered solution adheres to the design or where the design may need to be modified.
  • Develop specifications for Solution engineering to build the solutions and  participate in design-related problem resolution
  • Collaborate with other architecture disciplines to ensure all high level designs are comprehensive, complant, and viable.
  • Participate in emerging technology research.
  • Ensure all solutions meet appropriate CMMC or local government requirements
  • In all areas of responsibility, the incumbent is responsible for providing full compliance with the “Company Policy Statement on Contracting with the United States Government” and the “Company Code of Ethics”, which include, ensuring subordinate staff are aware of the policies and that their responsibilities and actions comply and support these policies.
  • In all areas of responsibility which have direct impact on the health and safety of employees and the environment, assure that appropriate safeguards are in place and that the "Company Policy and Principles on Human and Natural Resource Protection" is fully supported and implemented.
  • Responsible for the completion of specific goals, objectives, and tasks related to this position as assigned by RTX management.

Qualifications You Must Have:

•        Minimum 10+ years of designing and integrating infrastructure solutions and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.

•        Experience or interface with Model Based Notation, such as UML, SysML, Archimate, and experience using modeling tools (Rhapsody, Sparx Enterprise Architect, Cameo).

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with Cloud Services, AWS, Azure, IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS
  • Architecture certification preferred (TOGAF, Zachman)
  • Experience architecting and designing large scale digital workplace solutions
  • Experience with Server, Storage, Data Center

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
