TransPerfect Health is now providing therapy services at The Place Deans Bridge and Martinez.

Currently, we are seeking a full-time or PRN SLP at Deans Bridge. The ideal SLP will have a passion for the aging population and desires to work in a skilled nursing and assisted living setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
  • Help optimize functional independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
  • Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
  • Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
  • In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop robust therapy program
  • Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
  • Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Current or eligible Speech Therapy license in the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program
  • ASHA accreditation or equivalent
