The Associate Analyst, Service Desk will provide technology support of the company’s key applications. This position will have the ability to support a wide array of applications that are mission critical to the ongoing operations of Invitation Homes.   We are building a culture that fosters innovation, built on a foundation of inclusion and diversity. You will partner with Desktop Support, Infrastructure, Technology Leaders and Operations teams to help deliver Genuine Care to our Associates located in an office setting or a remote location.  You will help us continue to build on our strong departmental culture and help chart the course for the future of the technology department. You will be on the forefront providing technical support for software issues along with onboarding and offboarding activities.

What You’ll Do

  • Technical support representative will answer incoming phone calls and provide support to callers experiencing computer problems of all kinds. They listen to descriptions of customer issues and determine how and if they can be fixed. Support onboarding Technology functions for new team members

  • Support the Technology offboarding functions for exiting team members ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Interacts with Active Directory to set up and maintain users and their accounts.

  • Support requests for adding, modifying, creating, and giving permissions for shared inboxes in Microsoft Exchange

  • Utilizes diagnostic software to remove spyware and viruses from computers

  • Support requests for equipment, computer logins, password resets, creation of employee addresses and employee security access. 

  • Provide updates to key stakeholders as needed.

  • If customer tech problems cannot be handled over the phone, technical support representatives schedule a repair crew to fix problems on-site.

  • Maintains customer records by updating ticket information

Who We’re Looking For

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 1 year of experience working with the following:

    • Windows Operating System Windows 7 - Windows 10

    • O365 experience

  • Mac OS/X (preferred but not required)

  • 1 year experience in a Service Desk / Help Desk environment.

  • Desirable to have experience working with Active Directory, Exchange, MS Office, and Windows

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Results oriented self-starter with ability to multi-task and prioritize work

  • Enthusiasm for working directly with customers

  • Strong Team Player with excellent communication and organizational skills.  Self-motivated with a passion for excellence.

  • An excellent telephone manner is required together with the ability to handle challenging support situations with a calm and methodical approach

  • Ability to make thoughtful decisions independently for after-hours needs.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.

  • technical support representatives use customer service skills to put customers at ease and help them solve their technical problems

  • data entry skills are a must-have for technical support representatives, who input information into support logs for each and every call they take.

Salary Range

$21.09 - $36.56
