Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant – Sales Support to act as a trusted advisor and technical expert throughout the sales process. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to provide business-level consultation, pre-sales technical support, and strategic guidance for assigned opportunities. You will collaborate with internal teams, partners, and clients to ensure seamless delivery and high customer satisfaction while contributing to business growth and innovation.

What you will be doing:
Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise, leadership, and business-level consultation to clients and internal teams throughout the sales process for assigned opportunities.
Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with strategic accounts to take ownership of technical account management and provide advanced pre-sales support.
Project Management: Ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of solutions, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Product & Solution Awareness: Work with key manufacturers and Arrow partners to promote awareness of solutions, roadmap updates, and feature enhancements. Conduct solution presentations for internal teams and external customers.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed of current and emerging technologies that support business communication solutions. Perform competitive market analysis to identify trends and equip pre-sales and sales teams with valuable insights.
Job Complexity:
Guide teams and customers in resolving complex issues based on existing solutions, procedures, and best practices.
Act as a subject matter expert within your discipline, delivering high-quality solutions and insights.
Serve as a resource for best practices on functional teams or cross-disciplinary projects.
Train and mentor junior staff to develop their skills and capabilities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of related experience and a 4-year degree, OR 8 years of experience with an advanced degree, OR equivalent professional experience.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of business communication solutions, product roadmaps, and technology trends.
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to perform market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Leadership & Mentoring: Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and guide junior staff and cross-functional teams.
Client Engagement: Skilled at delivering value to clients through project management, technical consultations, and strategic recommendations.
Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders.
