Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the software and resolving any technical glitches that may arise. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve software issues. - Monitor and maintain the performance of critical business systems. - Investigate and diagnose software problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. - Provide technical support to end-users, addressing their queries and resolving any software-related issues. - Document and maintain accurate records of software issues and their resolutions. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance software performance and efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Downstream Retail Technology. - Strong understanding of software troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques. - Experience in diagnosing and resolving software issues within critical business systems. - Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python. - Familiarity with database management systems and SQL queries. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with software testing and quality assurance processes. - Experience with incident management and ticketing systems. - Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Downstream Retail Technology. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required. - Resource is willing to work in shift.
