An opportunity to join Manulife’s Asia Regional Distribution team, playing a critical role in shaping and executing the overall strategy within a fit-for-purpose governance framework. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Manulife’s Asia distribution – by continuously generating performance insights and leveraging them to drive transformative changes required in the short- to medium-term as well as the game-changers required to build longer-term competitive advantage. This role is not simply about putting dashboards, strategies and plans on pages – rather it encompasses both the strategic thinking around performance levers as the leveraging of pragmatic approach to planning how to capture value in the short-term. Working closely with Asia Distribution leadership, , there is large scope for impact and driving massive change!
Position Responsibilities:
Have a dual responsibility of driving insights generation while taking part in strategic transformation initiatives
On the insights parts – this will mean:
- Owning the execution of several key performance management processes, ensuring that the distribution performance narrative is well understood across key leadership forums.
- Owning the design and roll-out of strategic insights generation initiatives, identifying focus areas, acquiring data, and extracting insights which can then be shared across markets to help drive performance.
On the transformation part – this will mean:
- Taking part to the design and roll-out of strategic initiatives across markets – which will combine current state analysis, problem solving, solution planning, execution orchestration and change management
- Continuously identify and address opportunities to develop our business across core strategic themes
- Develop communities of practice across core strategic themes - coach practitioners and ensure that best practices are identified and synergized across markets
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective end-to-end delivery
Required Qualifications:
Experience in performance management and analysis roles – with an ability to rapidly and confidently acquire data, analyse it and extract key insights for associated decisioning
Experience in having conceived and executed on transformation end-to-end to create tangible value. Familiarity with an agile organizational model is essential
Autonomous Operation: Ability to drive broad priorities independently with minimal guidance from senior leadership
A strong understanding of where and how value is created. We are obsessed about impact, not the plans themselves!
