Position Summary

CVS Health is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Lead. This person should have experience with large programs, the ability to manage resources in a matrixed environment and develop comprehensive test strategies with other QA leads across the program. The Senior Quality Assurance Lead will oversee End 2 End testing across the Grievance and Appeals program, provide program testing status, and interact with Senior Leadership. Candidate will need to have excellent communication skills and provide input to release schedules as it relates to Quality Assurance activities. This candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt quickly to change and manage a team of Quality Assurance engineers providing guidance, mentorship, and support in all aspects of software testing.

Responsibilities Include

  • Developing and implementing QA strategies, methodologies, and processes to ensure efficient and effective testing practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and define test plans and strategies
  • Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing
  • Identify and prioritize test cases based on risk analysis and business impact
  • Monitor and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and closure
  • Continuously improve and optimize the QA process, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation
  • Validating the APIs via API validations tool
  • Managing vendor application testing


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as a Quality Assurance Lead or Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, with a focus on overall program quality
  • 5+ years experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar
  • 3+ years experience scripting e.g. SQL, Python/Jason
  • Cloud QA experience
  • Test Data Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or C#
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
