WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

The Equipment Strategy Business Planning Analyst provides strategic, analytical, and operational support for biomedical equipment planning, investment decisions, and fleet management. This role leverages advanced data analytics, business intelligence tools, and Red Cross business systems to assess equipment availability, capital planning needs, budget status, and business unit capabilities. The analyst develops quantitative and qualitative insights to support complex business decisions, multi-million-dollar investment planning, and long-range equipment strategy.

Working closely with executive-level Biomedical leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, the position identifies business challenges, diagnoses barriers through complex analysis, and delivers actionable recommendations that improve operational effectiveness and resource allocation. The role requires expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and enterprise business systems, as well as the ability to leverage emerging technologies, including AI, to drive data-informed decision making and strategic planning. Additionally, the analyst supports business operations, planning initiatives, and organizational objectives through effective communication, collaboration, and leadership support.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities): 

  • Provide program planning support through data analyses. Conduct research, business plan analyses and feasibility studies.  Identify trends and develop recommendations for highly complex issues.
  • Lead or participate in projects and operations as a subject matter expert to develop complex solutions and concepts including, but not limited to analysis, reporting, budget and scheduling,
  • Conduct risk, resource, cost-benefit, variance, impact and/or other complex analyses. Develop metrics for and monitor performance of business unit, organization, initiatives and/or business operations. 
  • Develop complex modeling and reporting tools or other systems for monitoring and analyzing performance or data integrity.
  • Typically coordinate certain operational support activities on behalf of business unit such as business development, human resources, administration, budget management, business information systems, logistics and contracts.

The salary range for this position is $95-105,000

This job will be posted for a minimum of three business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. 

The role is remote/work‑from‑home, with the requirement that the selected candidate reside anywhere within the United States.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education

  • Bachelor's degree required,or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of related business planning, analysis, operations, equipment strategy, finance, or comparable experience.
  • Experience partnering with and supporting executive-level leaders within Red Cross Biomedical.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex, multi-million-dollar business and investment decisions.

Skills & Abilities

  • Advanced Power BI expertise, including data visualization, reporting, dashboard development, and business intelligence.
  • Advanced analytical and data modeling skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Proven ability to identify barriers within complex analyses and develop effective solutions and decision-support strategies.
  • Strong understanding of capital equipment planning principles and equipment lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency with Red Cross business systems, including Coupa, eMAX, Element, and related platforms.
  • Experience modeling, integrating, and analyzing data from multiple Red Cross business systems to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
  • Knowledge of business planning, operational analysis, budgeting, and performance management principles, practices, and standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Travel

May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout the Red Cross system as required
