AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly experienced Assistant Lead Designer to join our Middle East, Design & Engineering delivery team. This role involves leading BIM/CAD teams, managing complex packages of work with minimal supervision, and supporting project delivery through technical excellence and leadership.

Atkins Global Technology Centre (GTC) is seeking to appoint an Assistant Lead Designer (Revit-Civil Structures) to join our team. This role will be based at our Atkins office in Cairo.

Your role

• To be part of the AtkinsRéalis Middle East delivery Team.
• To assist in delivering a range of projects relating to building projects. 
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary projects to comply with the relevant CAD/BIM Standards
• Develop project deliverables, particularly drawings and reports, in accordance with client scope, budget, and quality requirements.
• Works alongside the /BIM leads to integrate outcomes and link information delivery with design delivery.
• Essential to have experience working with Revit/ AutoCAD / BIM-related 
• Self–motivated, Capable of preparing complex drawings. 
• Responsible for the completion of tasks assigned.
• Shall be Capable of producing Revit Model independently in coordination with Architecture/MEP, etc.
• Should have working experience in reinforced concrete and Steel Structures
• Should have working experience in developing independently GA’s, Sections, and Detail drawings (RC and Steel).
• Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks within time and cost
• Responsible for assigning and monitoring work delegated to colleagues through to completion.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities.
• Remains accessible for communication with others
• Fosters team building.  
• Acts in the best interest of the team always.
• Being able to understand the implications of adjusting the priorities of team members.
• Willingness to share information and knowledge with team members.
• Take initiative to pull the team together and accomplish team goals.

About you

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with 5-10 years’ experience in delivering multidisciplinary projects.
