Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector has a leadership opening for a Program Support Training Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Edwards AFB, CA.

The selected manager will assist the Program Training Leads and Functional Homeroom Program Support Training Manager in the development and implementation of the overall Training System Courseware for the Test and Evaluation team.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the management of Test Program training courseware development and implementation

  • Serve as the primary Test Program training interface with internal and external customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree AND 9 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master’s AND 7 years of related professional/military experience

  • Must have prior management or leadership experience.

  • Must have experience in a system test environment.

  • Must have experience with developing and implementing a training regimen in a large environment.

  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years) and ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of combined aviation maintenance or manufacturing experience

  • Significant experience in a developmental/operational test maintenance environment

  • Experience in a US Air Force Combined Test Force

  • Experience leading an aircraft operation under DCMA Instruction 8210 oversight.

  • Currently hold Special Program Access

Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
