Job Summary

    The Manager, Sales Support & Operations (Non-Sales) will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. This role will assist in developing graphics that convey the theme or our solution being proposed and working closely with graphic designers to ensure the accuracy of illustrations and proposal covers. The Manager will demonstrate the ability to write proposal responses and related documentation in response to customer solicitations.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Leads and runs a proposal development process and drives the proposal response and content contributors, writers, and reviewers to the proposal outline and schedule and ensures that the proposal is compliant, compelling, and persuasive in per the solicitation and all referenced documents.
    • Reviews and understands the solicitation documents (draft, final, Q&A, amendments, etc.) and creates/develops key proposal artifacts, such as vital templates and outlines to assist writers in developing appropriate content and compliant responses.
    • Establishes and maintains the schedule for development, reviewing, and producing based on the submission due date and requirements.
    • Ensures all proposal sections/volumes agree, uses consistent language, and can be read as "one-voice" throughout all submitted documents.
    • Owns the proposal kickoff meeting, ensuring the proposal outline and time frame are distributed, issues are addressed, and writers are assigned.
    • Leads the oral presentation preparation, both documentation and speakers.
    • Incorporates and formats written responses into formal review documents for each level of review.
    • Tracks schedule and progress to ensure all deadlines are met.
    • Incorporates win themes and strategies into the appropriate sections of the response.
    • Writes original text for activities such as Executive Summaries, company qualifications/capabilities, past performance, resumes, and other marketing-related materials.

    Qualifications

      Education & Years of Experience

      • Associate's Degree plus 5-7 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 7-9 years of work experience

      Work Environment / Physical Requirements

      • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
      • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

        Pay Rate

        $83,500 - $99,000 Salary

        Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
