The Role and Impact:


Join our team as a Module Equipment Technician, where you will directly contribute to Intel's cutting-edge manufacturing processes and innovation. In this role, you will be an integral part of ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced production equipment, driving operational excellence and supporting Intel's mission to create world-changing technology. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with engineering teams, troubleshoot complex systems, implement improvements, and play a vital role in maintaining our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in production equipment.
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and install equipment using blueprints, operating manuals, and technical drawings.
  • Conduct setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on manufacturing tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for equipment servicing and repairs as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze equipment-related data to improve tool performance and resolve module-related challenges.
  • Create detailed reports on system failures and update or develop specifications to enhance equipment maintenance and performance.
  • Support Module Engineering in executing experiments, data collection, and implementing equipment configuration changes.
  • Assist engineering teams with troubleshooting and controlled experimentation to enhance module availability and prevent future issues.
  • Partner with construction and engineering teams during factory ramps to ensure tools are installed or converted as designed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related technical field.
  • 4-6 years of experience with a High School diploma, or no experience required with an AA or AS degree.
  • Hands-on technical skills, including mechanical and electronic troubleshooting.
  • Ability to perform precise work with technical instruments and equipment.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation and manufacturing procedures.

  • Prior experience in equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
