About the Role

 

At Infobip’s Engineering Powerhouse, you’ll build scalable in-house products used globally. As a Software Engineer on our Mobile Messaging SaaS Platform, you’ll enable enterprises to deliver secure, reliable mobile messaging—including push notifications, in-app messaging, and mobile inboxes—across iOS, Android, and cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Cordova). Serving thousands of customers worldwide, the platform prioritizes stability, backward compatibility, and correctness.  

You’ll work across the full stack—from mobile SDKs and plugins to backend services and APIs — collaborating on real client integrations to troubleshoot issues and improve system reliability.

This role offers broad ownership, with engineering decisions that directly impact customers and shape long-term success.

 

 

What You’ll Do
- Own development and maintenance of mobile SDKs, expand to plugins and backend services
- Write clean, testable, scalable code with focus on correctness
- Participate in architecture discussions and agile workflows 
- Suggest improvements in architecture and engineering processes
- Continuously learn and collaborate with team and stakeholders

What Makes You a Strong Fit
- Senior mobile or motivated mid-level backend engineer ready for broader ownership
- Strong Android/iOS SDK or library development experience
- Familiarity with backend APIs and distributed systems interaction
- Solid OOP, data structures, concurrency knowledge 
- Willingness to work with cross-platform plugins and backend troubleshooting (Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot)
- Good grasp of RESTful APIs, code reviews, testing
- Collaborative and customer-focused mindset

Nice-to-Have
- CI/CD and release automation experience
- Experience with Redis, MongoDB, MS SQL Server 
- JavaScript/Node.js for plugins or tooling
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Slack
- Openness to improving platform architecture and workflows
