What you'll be doing

As a Consultant, Enterprise Gating – Technology Operational Risk within the Infrastructure Operations & Networks team, you'll play a key role in supporting the operational readiness of CIBC’s technology releases. You’ll conduct operational risk (Gating) assessments for projects and infrastructure changes, ensuring compliance with CIBC’s operational standards. Collaborating with Portfolio Leads, service providers, and operations teams, you’ll help identify, assess, and communicate risks throughout the application development lifecycle. Your work will include preparing executive dashboards, managing Gating documentation, and supporting process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of operational risk management. You’ll also contribute to the development and automation of tools, and support internal audit requirements through regular and ad hoc reporting.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting – Gather, analyze, and validate data for scheduled and ad hoc reporting, supporting insights for executive decision-making and internal audit requirements.
