Job Description:

GDIT is seeking an experienced EHR Product Manager to lead the modernization of the Indian Health Service (IHS) Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role will focus on driving strategic initiatives, ensuring successful implementation of Oracle Health/Cerner and other solutions, and fostering strong client relationships throughout the modernization journey.

This role is fully remote!
 

This role requires you to obtain and maintain an in-depth Public Trust Level 5. This investigation will review personal and criminal behavior, financial conduct, foreign influence, as well as other adjudications.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Leadership: Define and execute the product roadmap for IHS EHR modernization, aligning with organizational goals and federal requirements.

  • Vendor Collaboration: Partner closely with Oracle Health/Cerner teams to ensure seamless integration and optimization of EHR solutions.

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for IHS stakeholders, building trust and ensuring client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.

  • Requirements Gathering: Work with cross-functional teams to capture business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and prioritize features.

  • Project Oversight: Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of milestones within scope and budget.

  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, interoperability standards, and security protocols.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or 5+ years in product management within healthcare IT or EHR systems.

  • Proven experience with Oracle Health/Cerner products and implementations required.

  • Familiarity with federal health programs and interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7).

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5

Desired:

  • Experience with large-scale EHR modernization projects strongly preferred.

  • Understanding of tribal health systems and federal healthcare programs.

  • PMP or Agile certification.

  • Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

The likely salary range for this position is $142,792 - $178,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
