What you will be doing:
The Clinical Manager for the Imaging and Radiation Oncology service line will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and manage purchasing contracts for radiology, radiopharmaceutical, and radiation oncology products and services on behalf of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include providing clinical insights to support informed decision-making and help create contracting strategies that drive revenue growth and member financial, clinical, and operational success in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities also include:
Anticipate trends and recruit supplier partners using clinical and market knowledge to ensure supply resiliency and a market leading portfolio.
Lead the imaging and radiation oncology member committee to foster peer networking and incorporate the voice of customer in contracting to ensure portfolio alignment with membership’s clinical, financial, and operational objectives.
Cleanse and cross-reference product data for market basket financial analysis and/or creating scenarios for capital comparisons in the sourcing process.
Develop strategies for growth opportunities and new technology introduction, recommend member educational opportunities, and identify opportunities to enhance contract compliance and clinical, financial and operational success.
Support members and Member Account Management in clinical questions, supply alternatives, problem solving and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibility #1– 20%
Product Research and Evaluation
Perform clinical analysis and assess product-market fit of assigned sourcing product categories.
Research medical products for new innovations, interface with suppliers to access product pipeline.
Consolidate and present information on products and categories for internal and committee use during the sourcing cycle
Conduct assigned sourcing tasks and perform administrative duties via the sourcing software platform.
Responsibility #2 – 20%
Member Committee Leadership
Act as leader and liaison to member advisory committee.
Create and distribute committee meeting materials including agendas, meeting minutes, presentations and other deliverables.
Participate in annual recruiting and onboarding of new committee members.
Design and facilitate face-to-face committee meetings.
Responsibility #3– 20%
Project Management
Accountable to meet timelines for category completion based on the bid calendar for their clinical area.
Develop and monitor project work plans and resolve day-to-day issues in the service line categories.
Standardize the processes and the deliverables of their clinical product area for use in negotiations, the clinical committees, contract promotion team for product launch, and Premier’s Member Account Management team.
Responsibility #4– 20%
Portfolio Growth
Interface with suppliers, members, the Premier Member Account Management team and third-party relationships to enhance and ensure viability and competitiveness of Premier portfolio.
Enhance portfolio via addition of new categories and suppliers.
Responsibility #5– 10%
Cross-Referencing and Data Cleansing
Perform cross-referencing of products for market basket analysis and/or create scenarios for capital comparisons.
Ensure products are categorized correctly in various databases and Premier solutions.
Responsibility #6 – 10%
Subject Matter Review
Act as subject matter expert and share information within their area of specialization, including with Performance Groups and other divisions within Premier.
Develop, review and provide feedback on project deliverables for contract launch, member communications, and Member Account Management communications
Required Qualifications
Work Experience:
Years of Applicable Experience - 5 or more yearsEducation:
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Required Certifications/Licensing
Experience in radiology services
Administrative experience including project management and process improvement initiatives
Hospital operations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience:
Clinical area of expertise - clinical experience as a radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist or medical sonographer, with certification via respective professional organization
Purchasing experience
Clinical capital equipment experience
Education:
Masters, certification through ARRT, NMTCB, ARDMS
