Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our GFSO Reporting Tower Bangalore -Global Finance Services Division.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst within Caterpillar’s Global Finance Division, you will be instrumental in developing and supporting web-based analytics solutions. The role involves partnering with global stakeholders—including business managers, accountants, and senior leadership—to design data visualizations and automate reporting, thereby enabling standardized and scalable business intelligence. You will collaborate across business units and the Strategy team to ensure process alignment, support onboarding of future initiatives, and drive innovation for Caterpillar’s worldwide operations.
The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore, Whitefield Office
What you will do:
As part of Caterpillar’s Global Finance Division, the Business Intelligence Analyst role will have the opportunity to develop and support web-based solutions functionality of one or more applications or business to support our Descriptive Analytics Team. This role will partner with Strategy & Execution Business Manager, Senior Staff Accountants, senior leadership and other key global stakeholders to design and develop key data visualizations and automation for Caterpillar’s global leadership and key stakeholders. In addition to ensuring a successful reporting standardization and transition, the role offers opportunity to identify and lead onboarding future processes. This position will work closely with business units across the enterprise and the Global Finance Strategy team to ensure alignment of processes for Caterpillar.
