In this role, you will work closely with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs related to legacy Evoqua ISS products (now part of WSS Expansion) and provide well-adapted, value-adding solutions.

The role will evolve as Xylem continues its journey toward more engineered solutions and outcome-based contracting, making this a key position in shaping future customer offerings.

You will be responsible for developing long-term customer relationships, growing the business through both new and existing customers, and identifying opportunities. You will work in close partnership with customers, commercial partners, and internal teams across Sweden and Europe to ensure customer satisfaction and sustainable results.

The position reports directly to the Director of WSS Sales and Service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with existing customers while actively identifying and acquiring new customers.

  • Analyze market potential and customer needs; qualify and prioritize accounts within a structured sales and account plan.

  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

  • Understand customer challenges and recommend WSS Expansion products and solutions that create clear value.

  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations and tenders.

  • Act as the local commercial contact during project execution, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

  • Work in line with established sales processes and customer funnel strategies, including cooperation with service partners and distributors.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, and share insights internally.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or commercial field, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Several years of experience in a similar sales or business development role within a technical or industrial environment.

  • Experience from water, wastewater, or environmental technology is an advantage.

  • Strong interest in technical solutions and the ability to translate technology into customer value.

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
