Aerial Specialist, Retail
The Aerial Specialist will enhance our offerings in data visualization by creating outputs to help aid retailers in making strategic real estate decisions through identifying and visualizing market drivers, developments, and competition.
The Aerial Specialist will work closely with colleagues across the Retail Business as well as the Americas Research and Marketing groups. This is a great opportunity for a creatively minded individual willing to learn multiple tools and technologies.
The Aerial Specialist will contribute to the best-in-class marketing output that differentiates JLL. We tell the real estate story, define the market, and inspire action.
What this job involves
Responsible for creating and maintaining aerial map library and assets using company provided tools and brand standards
Strong focus on utilizing graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to enhance aerial maps and visualize information
Research market indicators such as new developments, traffic volumes, housing stats, etc.
Assist on projects from initial debrief to finished product following standard operating procedures with limited oversight
Project manage incoming requests to align tasks with appropriate internal resourcing, coordinating with partners such as Research/GIS, Marketing and Design as necessary
Contribute to the Marketing center of excellence and provide support to colleagues as needed
Develop and share best practice standards with the Americas Marketing Group
Desired skills and experience for this job
0 – 3 years of related marketing/graphic design experience, real estate knowledge a plus
BS/BA in marketing, graphic design, or relevant experience (BS/BA not required)
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite products, including Photoshop and Illustrator
Working knowledge of aerial imagery providers, such as Google Earth
Familiarity with Retail Real Estate GIS concepts: geofencing, mobile data, consumer expenditures, lifestyle segmentation, demographics, etc. a plus, but not required
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong organization skills to effectively manage workload and time, multi-task, and succeed under pressure
Detail-oriented individual with the ability to closely follow processes and procedures
