We are hiring for an exciting new role to support a new product launch in our pharmaceutical business.
Job Functions
Participate on Senior Sales Leadership team to interface with all aspects of the Pharmaceutical Business to assist in the development of field strategy, deployment and programs to attain company goals.
Lead direct reports in the implementation of corporate strategy in a team environment of RSD’s, work collaboratively across the business to maximize results in their Area.
Develop DM’s to operate their region as a business unit: needs analysis, strategies, resource allocation, opportunities, supervising/training reps.
Accountable for leading all Talent Management and Talent development in their Region working to build a pipeline of future Alcon leaders.
Customer interaction as needed (in addition to co-travel listed above) Recruiting, interviewing, hiring & training DM’s and sales specialists.
Interact with internal departments to assure external customer satisfaction and provide field with necessary on-going support.
Administration: business/sales analysis, strategic and tactical planning, performance reviews, call-ins, budget control, expense reports, home office projects, computer communication and utilization. Personal development- management, coaching, computer, interpersonal, etc., skills.

Region Total Sales
Region Sales Execution: Call KPI’s Product Position Order, Reach and Frequency,
Key Customer Relationships in Region
Standard Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree, master’s degree in business/marketing preferred
Experience (Years): 12+ years Sales/Marketing Experience 7+ years Leadership.
Preferred Experience:
4-5 years frontline sales leadership (preferred)
Strong planning and analytical skills
Industry experience or combination of business-to-business sales and medical device/pharmaceutical sales.
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
Product launch experience
